Obesity is a lifestyle disease but it also result in diabetes, thyroid gland disesase and various heart diseases. This poses great danger to a person's psychological health.
This steps can help combat obesity:
Exercise: Be it cycling, jogging, swimming, dancing, taking a 30mins walk. Whatever form of exercise you choose will help burn calories and excess fat.
Diet: watch what you eat. Increase your vegetable and fruit intake.cut down on your consumption of meat, instead eat fish.
Eat small portions: eat small portions of food but make sure it's a healthy meal.
Quit eating junk food: say NO to those fries, cheese burgers, meat pie, sugary soft drinks and others. If you must snack eat more of vegetables (carrots, cucumber, garden eggs, etc) and fruits .
Avoid weight reducing pills: Remember there is no shortcut to good health.
