Tips and Tricks on Styling Your Couch pillows

            A well styled sofa can complement everything there is to your living space. It tells a visitor that you drip of style and you pay attention to details. Most houses in Nigeria just go with the flow of what they see in catalogs, or what they feel is their sense of style.

Here are ways to style your couch pillows;

•Mix textures, colours and patterns:

This is a favorite decorative trick, think of your couch as a canvas, as bare as it looks and create a masterpiece as you mix things up with your throw pillows.

•Use odd numbers:

Perfection and symmetry can leave a room looking like a text book; take one away and add a feel of lived-in-ness. You do want your guest to feel at home and not also feel like they are competing with the pillows for space.

•Ease up on modern spaces:

The modern look, is more aesthetic than it is homely, so use the softness and cushiness of pillows to round the hard edges of modern and contemporary styles. It would welcome people to enjoy the space you have created.

•Complement The Room:

While you are feeling like a master decorator at the moment, you should not forget the essence of styling pillows…'to complement the room’ ,use the throw pillows as a way to pull a room together by picking up colors used elsewhere.
